Seraphim are six-winged angelic beings in Christianity who belong to the highest order of the heavenly hierarchy. They are associated with light, purity and flamboyance. Seraphim (singular: Seraph ) have a special function in Heaven as being closest to God's throne.
Their six wings have a unique feature.
Two to fly, representing their freedom. and praise.
Two to cover their faces so that they would not be overwhelmed by the brightness of God.
